Harris Teeter Hot Pick

 

    Here's my my latest hot pick just for you. On one of my recent trips into Virginia I discovered Harris Teeter. It's a grocery chain that we don't have here in PA., and of course they sell wine. This is where I found Oak Creek Wines. It turns out that this wine is made only for Harris Teeter stores, and it looks like it is aimed directly at the 2 Buck Chuck Market. Price on this seems to be consistently set at 3/$10. Now how could I pass that up? I didn't! 

 

    OK... The brass tax! This wine is not stellar by any stretch of the imagination, and it probably dose not want to consumed on its own or even with a single pairing of cheese. However, this wine sits just fine intermingled with an entire meal (read as Table Wine). If you have a Harris Teeter near you go check it out.
